Introducing the Petition Challenge!

To kick off 2009-2010 Darfur Challenge, we have a special advocacy challenge for participants, and a chance to win exciting prizes! The Darfur Sudan Peace Network has written a petition, demanding the Canadian government take greater steps to end the violence in Darfur and reinforce peace between North and South Sudan. As a part of the challenge, participants will have until Friday December 18th to get as many petition signatures as possible.

Get your petition presented in the House of Commons!

If your petition has at least 25 signatures, a member of parliament can present it in the House of Commons. This is an great way to ensure that the Prime Minister and all the most influencial leaders hear that Canadians care about what's happening in Darfur and in the rest of Sudan! It's easy to get your peition presented in the House of Commons. Just download the petition, along with instructions.
